What is AGED?

AGED is a non-profit organization that helps seniors and the disabled get the care they need.

AGED uses a Special Needs Trust to assist individuals who are over the income/asset limit to qualify for government benefits.

Can AGED help me?

Are you one of the millions of elderly or disabled individuals who make over $700 a month ($941/couple), and/or have assets over $2,000 ($3,000/couple)?

If so, AGED may be able to help you qualify for government benefits.

Call us today, and we’ll see if you, your friends, or you family can benefit from a Medicaid Pooled Trust.

What is a Special Needs Trust?

The Pooled Trust is similar to a savings account. You put any monies over the Medicaid limit into your trust, and you then qualify for government benefits.

The state Medicaid Agency (DCF in Florida) cannot count the money in your trust as income or assets. This means that you can qualify for Medicaid Benefits!

Your bills are then paid directly from the trust. It's that simple!

What is Medicaid?

Medicaid is a program that provides medical coverage to low income individuals and families. The state and federal governments share the costs of the Medicaid Program. It’s a break from the government!

Am I disabled?

There are 5 steps that determine disability. If the answer to these five questions is no, you may qualify as disabled.

  1. Am I working now?

  1. Is my medical problem incredibly minor?

  1.  Is my medical condition so severe it appears on the Listing of Impairments for automatic payment of benefits?

  1. Can I return to any work that I have done in the past 15 years?

  1. Given my abilities, age, education, prior work experience and skills, is there any type of work that I can do on a full-time basis?

In general, the same procedures for determining disability for adults under the age of 65 are also used when determining whether individuals 65 or older are disabled.
